Jobs Description Manager – HR
The HR M&A Data Management & Operational Excellence role focuses on helping to drive the planning, executing and managing of all deal-oriented human capital data across the entire deal lifecycle, across both acquisitions and strategic deals globally and the consolidation, systematization and sharing of best practice policies, tools and practices within the HR M&A team. The candidate should have strong background in data management, reporting and analytics. In addition, strong experience in all aspects of HR M&A including an understanding of typical HR data used/worked with throughout the HR M&A deal process.
Roles and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Engaging in the deal-specific employee data workstream from pre-diligence through harmonization, including: data templates, collection, auditing, reporting, maintenance, system upload(s) and hand-off to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with all deal stakeholders to foster a continuous improvement mindset and deliver an outstanding stakeholder experience by providing consistent and reliable data to help drive better decision-making
- Building and maintaining strong relationship with all stakeholders and client teams to support seamless transfer and integration
- Working with HR M&A team in the development of the data management function within the HR M&A team, including defining process, developing protocols, creating deliverables and managing the support to the HR M&A team and specific deal teams on an on-going basis.
- Working within the HR M&A team to support consolidation of good-practice tools, templates and methodologies. Support in the articulation of best-practice approaches and in sharing these with the teams, engaging in and supporting the continuous improvement process.
Skills Required
- Data Management/Data Reporting/Data Analytics skills, including experience in managing large, complex data sources
- Understanding of global data privacy laws
- HR Functional Knowledge (Experience in at least 2 HR process areas preferred)
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to multi-task, manage time with competing priorities and aggressive timelines to achieve goals and close issues while leading multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication skills-written & oral
- Good collaboration skills to work with the internal team, HRBPs, HR COEs, business units, corporate development and executive teams.
- Experience with M&A and/or Employee transitions
- Change management skills
